This is the original Cameo sculpture done in more of that scrap clay. Again, I used a dental tool for most of the work. The broad planes of the face were sanded and buffed to give it extra smoothness. Click on the thumbnail to see more detail. |

She began with fuchia clay, dusted with Pearl-Ex "Flamingo Pink" powder, accented with glitter adhered with TLS, and antiqued with steel blue acrylic paint after baking. I finished her with water-based Diamond Flecto Verathane. I chose different shades of pink and purple iridencent beads and accented these with the fuchia leaf cane beads on hanging loops. |
