This from my sketchbook, is an oil pastel sketch done while entertaining my preschoolers. The original is very small, so the details were non-existant. I finished the drawing by scanning it into Paint Shop Pro and then digitally painting her face, hands and other details using my Wacom tablet and pen.

This sketch was featured on my old weblog. I was in the process of painting this portrait. It will also have a flag of Gondor, his elven hunting knife and Narsil/Anduril surrounding him. He is dressed in the chain mail from Helm's Deep. I've pretty much abandoned this painting... too many errors...
