Fan Club Moot

These photos were taken at the Fan Club Moot at the Tam O'Shanter in Los Angeles on the Saturday before the Two Towers: One Party event on March 22nd, 2003. I have identified as many members as I knew by sight, but some I do not know their message board names... or, they have had more than one handle and I can't recall who they are now... ;) Prim reports that the silver-haired lady in the center of the page is Irascian's Mum, and the young lady wearing the Lorien Leaf necklace on the left center is Aldara Greenleaf. The woman in her own oval on the right is Strange Elf.

Sarumann, the priniciple organizer of this Fan Club event, is holding up a cardboard cut-out of Sauron's Truss (who had been called to active duty in the Navy Reserves, sent to Kuwait, and therefore unable to attend).

I'd heard of the Pervy Elf Fanciers before, but this was the first time I'd seen the Pervy Dabs Fanciers! Who are these other lovely ladies? Anyone know? I actually talked with them at length, so they probably told me who they were at the time... but like an idiot, I didn't write it down!

I caught Daelyn Goldleaf, Irascian, Moochalas and Fakoriginal being silly for the cameras.

Overlithe, Primula and Lithilien listen intently as the winning numbers are called for the door prizes.... Prim donates a role-playing game as one of the prizes, and then wins another role-playing game! I didn't win anything.... [drat]. Is the woman behind Prim, Elven Cat? Correct me if I'm wrong... =)
