"Cameo"

bar

original Cameo sculpture This is the original Cameo sculpture done in more of that scrap clay. Again, I used a dental tool for most of the work. The broad planes of the face were sanded and buffed to give it extra smoothness. Click on the thumbnail to see more detail.
Fuchia Cameo She began with fuchia clay, dusted with Pearl-Ex "Flamingo Pink" powder, accented with glitter adhered with TLS, and antiqued with steel blue acrylic paint after baking. I finished her with water-based Diamond Flecto Verathane. I chose different shades of pink and purple iridencent beads and accented these with the fuchia leaf cane beads on hanging loops.
