Streams of Water
I looked for a drink in a dry, barren land.
I had nothing to lose for my Lord was at hand.
He gave me to drink from the springs of His soul.
He touched me and made me washed and whole!
From the wealth of His promises He gave us the book.
All we need do is read, heed His voice, and look.
Out of His riches we need pay back no major debt.
His death on the cross paid all and was kept!
Water is flowing freely for all the world today.
It keeps on coming, for Christ is the way.
On earth the streams high in the mountains do flow,
Through valleys winding their way where the plants grow.
Where ever your mission in this world is to be.
Look to the Master, for He'll show you to see.
People out there need a fresh drink from that stream.
God is waiting and ready to give all we might dream!
Jesus Be Near You
Through the morning and into the break of day,
Our Savior will be close beside to help guide our way.
He gives us strength for tomorrow and takes us by the hand.
He'll never fail or leave us in our journey through this land!
Our Savior has been there through all the grief and pain.
He knows just how we feel and will make us free again!
All we need do is trust in Him and read His precious book.
His promises are sure and there for all who'd take a look!
The road to Calvary was long and took our Savior's life.
Yet He arose and went to heaven to keep us from the strife.
Comfort for the future and rest for the weary in the soul.
Jesus be near you; through the trials keep you always whole!
Jesus be near you and strengthen you through every hour.
Draw upon His word and get His love and awesome power.
His prayer line is always open and ready for you to dial.
Jesus be near you and comfort your soul all the while!
