bodhran player Originally, I made my way over to the stage in order to get some photos of the band, Emerald Rose. But then I found that certain people who always seem to be in the thick of things were also hanging around the front of the stage... so I stuck around the whole evening near the front and center.
John Rhys-Davies JRD suddenly showed up after Quickbeam began an announcement. It was then that I discovered the reason some veteran fans had stuck around the stage in spite of being enticed to grab more food or refreshments earlier... they knew where to be! Since I only had a disposable camera to work with, it's a good thing I didn't get stuck way back in the croud. The disadvantage is that I did not have the opportunity to actually meet JRD when he showed up on the floor...
Craig Parker - Haldir Next, after Quickbeam did his pretty-good imitation of Haldir, That Cutie Craig Parker showed up on stage! He is just adorable and was clearly having the time of his life. Oh, how I wish I'd had a better camera!!
Craig Parker waiting for his cue
Craig Parker again a couple more shots of Craig, just because he's so cute!
Sean Astin at the podium I think this shot is just as he is trying to talk to Peter Jackson through the sound system on a cell phone.... asking him to S·L·O·W D·O·W·N so we could understand him...
Sean Astin with the bodhran I don't remember the order of these photos any more, but at one point the Hobbits went out on stage to pick up the instruments. Dom and Billy were also in this shot but were behind microphones...
Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd working the croud Dom and Billy really worked the croud well! This shot showing Dom's tonsils is when he was trying to get everyone to calm down... everyone was screaming and clapping and being rowdy... gee... I wonder why? ::smirk::
